Wednesday, December 9 // 7:00 - 8:30pm ET
Join me for an evening of plant-inspired creativity, imagination, and connection. I will share reflections on the living wisdom of the Earth and the ways plants serve as teachers, healers, and gateways to deeper knowing.
Together, we’ll sip a fragrant Cinnamon elixir before embarking on a guided meditation to meet the spirit of Cinnamon and enter her story. Through an intuitive writing exercise, participants will explore the messages, images, memories, and insights that arise from this encounter, allowing the wisdom of the plant world to inspire and inform their own creative expression.
When I met a cinnamon tree in the tropics for the first time, I was so excited that I kissed it and gave it a big bear hug, much to the amusement of our guide. Cinnamon is a delicious, warming spice, and one of my all- time favorites. The powder can be ground from the bark of any species of cinnamon tree and added to many foods. It blends well with everything from vanilla to curries. It is also potent medicine, both antimicrobial and a clinically proven moderator of blood sugar.
Those who wish will be welcome to share their writing and reflections with the group, creating a rich tapestry of stories woven from both human and plant wisdom.
This experience is open to everyone, no writing experience is necessary. All that is required is curiosity, an open heart, and a willingness to listen. Whether you are a writer, artist, herbalist, nature lover, or simply someone longing for deeper connection, you’ll leave with fresh inspiration, a deeper relationship with the plants, and a renewed sense of wonder about the living world and your place within it.
