Plants as Portals is an ongoing series of experiential writing workshops that invite you into deeper relationship with the living world through plant medicine, meditation, imagination, and the written word.
In each gathering, we’ll meet a different plant ally.
You don’t need to be a writer.
You don’t need to know anything about herbalism.
All you need is curiosity, an open heart, and a willingness to listen.
In each workshop, we’ll sip tea made from the featured plant, then embark on a guided meditation to meet the spirit of the plant and enter into their story. From this place of connection, we’ll write and allow whatever wants to emerge to find its way onto the page.
Those who wish will be invited to share their writing and reflections with the group, creating a rich tapestry of stories woven from human experience, plant wisdom, and the mysterious places where the two meet.
Whether you are a writer, artist, herbalist, nature lover, or simply someone longing for a deeper connection with your own creativity and the more-than-human world, these workshops offer a space to slow down, listen deeply, and see what wants to be revealed.
