Green Witch Guide to Spiritual Activism Part I

What does a magical response to the heartlessness of the current paradigm that passes for reality look like? And what are the wise and unwise ways to do this work?

First, it requires community. Join us as we gather our collective powers of imagination to help weave a narrative of justice, compassion, & love for the present and future generations.

We’ll discuss potential pitfalls as we explore ways to direct our intentional magic toward advocating for social justice and compassionate policies. Our physical and spiritual activism work best when empowered by our fiercely loving dedication to bringing about a healthier way of living in our world, with respect for all people and our more-than-human kin.

Green Witch Guide to Spiritual Activism Part II

In this evening, we will cast a circle for a group ritual/spell inspired by the teachings shared and the ideas gathered together from everyone’s input the first evening. We will create our altars at home, and at the shop, and together create a sacred container focused on the work of reuniting families that have been separated at the US/Mexico border by the inhumane policies carried out in our name, against our wishes.

If you have to miss one of the classes, you can attend via recording.  We will record these hybrid classes.

  Registration is sliding scale.

You can purchase tickets on the Transcending Roots Website.

Local folks are welcome to join Kim at Transcending Roots Apothecary, Robin and all others will be joining online via zoom.

10% of the proceeds from the course will be donated to an organization devoted to the ongoing support of the people we are seeking to aid with our ritual.

Making herbal medicine, and healing with the earth accessible is one of our biggest foundations, so to continue to allow us to bring guest teachers and offerings like this to the community, please select the highest registration affordable to you.
