The Native and Wild Medicinal Plant Garden was created as a hands-on outdoor education center, founded by Robin Rose, and rededicated the Douglass Memorial Garden in honor of Robin’s partner who passed away in 2012, is tended entirely by volunteers and is now in it’s tenth season!
Volunteers will learn how to tend the plants and the land so they can improve their own gardens, when to harvest and how to use the plants medicinally, or just enjoy working with others in the garden. While the work may be taxing, we welcome all ages to experience the garden as we try to improve the health of our land and our bodies.
The garden is located at the intersection of Clinton Road and Warwick Turnpike in Hewitt, NJ 07421. Contact John Harrison if you have any questions: firstname.lastname@example.org.
