The best way to learn about herbs is outside in nature. Join herbalist Robin Rose Bennett on Saturday May 31st for a delightful stroll through Central Park to discover the abundance of food and medicine plants that live all around us, even in the city.

The walk will be slow-paced so that you can learn specific keys to help you identify local medicinal plants such as dandelion, violet, burdock, plantain, red clover, and mugwort. Medicinal trees such as linden, hawthorn, witch hazel and oak will be visited as well. The afternoon will also include a plant (or tree) meditation to help you open your senses to the reality of plant communication.
Nourish your body, uplift your mind, and delight your soul with urban herbal medicine.
