The hidden gem of the Wyanokie Highlands, this Olympic-sized, stream-fed freshwater swimming pool is located in a wooded setting adjacent to the 5,400 acre Norvin Green State Forest.
Robin Rose Bennett will lead a group around the pool, identifying and learning about common plants that offer natural herbal medicine and delicious, nutritious food.
We are likely to see and discuss healing plants such as plantain, dandelion, violet, goldenrod, yellow dock, and red raspberry, along with medicinal trees such as white pine, linden and hawthorn, and there are always surprises to delight us when we go out “weed walking”.
Space is limited and pre-registration is requested: call 973-835-4299 to reserve your spot. $12 Guests/$10 Pool and NWC Members.
