The Respiratory System
Our nose, sinuses, throat, bronchia and lungs give us life as we inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide. We’ll explore herbs such as elecampane, garlic, usnea, yarrow, hyssop, mullein, and chickweed to address challenges such as sinusitis, shortness of breath, bronchitis, asthma, and simple or lingering coughs.

The Digestive Tract
It’s said we are what we eat, but we are, more truthfully, what we assimilate. We’ll focus on how to help our entire digestive system (esophagus, stomach, liver, gall bladder, pancreas, intestines, appendix and colon) optimally assimilate food and eliminate waste. We’ll explore slippery elm, chamomile, basil, ginger, angelica, dandelion and other herbs that can help address mouth infections, irritable bowel, cramps, indigestion, stomach acidity, constipation, diarrhea, and hemorrhoids.

The Nervous System
The mysterious nervous system may hold the ultimate key to our health as neurons exist virtually everywhere in our bodies and are the messengers coordinating the working relationships throughout all our systems. We’ll explore how to use herbs such as sage, oatstraw, lavender, basil, st john’s wort, nettles, mullein, solomon’s seal to help address pain, nerve damage, inflammation, anxiety, MS, depression, neuropathy, headaches, and strokes.
