Herbs can be profound mind/body/heart/ soul healers when we approach them with respect and gratitude. In this class we will focus on how to prepare and use herbs in our everyday lives as well as in extreme situations. We will explore the use of common, easy-to-find herbs for: healing our hearts (e.g. lavender and roses); strengthening the body (e.g. nettles); soothing and calming (oats, motherwort, etc.); sharpening the mind and memory; recovering from grief, shock and trauma; uplifting our spirits; and cultivating spiritual awakening. We will also gain a wealth of practical tips for purchasing, preparing, and using herbs in teas, infusions, tinctures, oils, baths, and much more.
